Prevent Cancer Trust is a registered non-profit organization in India. Donations made to Prevent Cancer Trust may be eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, subject to applicable laws and regulations.

✅ Eligibility for Tax Benefits

  • Tax benefits under Section 80G are available only to Indian taxpayers.

  • The benefit depends on the donor’s individual tax status and applicable income tax rules.

  • Not all donations may qualify for tax exemption, depending on legal provisions and donor eligibility.

Donors are advised to consult their tax advisor or financial consultant for accurate guidance.

🧾 Issuance of 80G Donation Receipt

After a successful donation, Prevent Cancer Trust will issue an official donation receipt containing:

  • Name of the Trust

  • PAN of the Trust

  • 80G Registration Number and validity period

  • Donation amount and date

Receipts are usually sent via email.

⚠️ No Guaranteed Tax Benefit

While Prevent Cancer Trust holds valid registration under Section 80G:

  • Tax exemption is not guaranteed for all donors.

  • Final acceptance of tax claims is subject to approval by the Income Tax Department of India.

  • Prevent Cancer Trust is not responsible for rejection of tax claims or changes in tax laws.

🔄 Refunds & Tax Receipts

  • Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable.

  • If a refund is approved, the corresponding 80G receipt will be cancelled.

📜 Changes in Law

Tax laws and government regulations may change from time to time. Prevent Cancer Trust does not guarantee continued eligibility for tax benefits if laws or policies are amended, suspended, or revoked.
