Prevent Cancer Trust values the generosity and trust of our donors. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how we handle donation cancellations and refunds.

💙 Donations Are Voluntary

All donations made to Prevent Cancer Trust are voluntary and intended for charitable purposes.
Once a donation is successfully processed, it is generally non-refundable.

❌ Cancellation of Donations

Since donations are used to support ongoing charitable programs, donation cancellations are not normally accepted after the payment is completed.

💰 Refund Requests

Refunds may be considered only in exceptional cases, such as:

  • Duplicate or multiple transactions made by mistake

  • Technical errors during payment processing

  • Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions (subject to verification)

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the donation date.

📝 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us with the following details:

  • Donor Name

  • Donation Date

  • Donation Amount

  • Transaction ID / Reference Number

  • Reason for Refund Request

We will review your request and respond within 7–10 working days.

⏳ Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • The refund will be processed to the original payment method

  • Processing time depends on the bank and payment gateway

  • Prevent Cancer Trust is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment service providers

🧾 Tax Receipts & Refunds

If a donation receipt (including 80G receipt) has been issued and a refund is processed:

  • The receipt will be cancelled as per applicable laws

  • Donors must not claim tax benefits on refunded donations

📜 Policy Updates

Prevent Cancer Trust reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.
Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
